Map To Caister

Elm Beach Caravan Park is situated approximately 2-3 miles outside Great Yarmouth. Great Yarmouth itself sits at the end, or beginning dependant upon which way you are facing, of 2 major roads; the A47 for those travelling from the Midlands and beyond, and the A12 which leads to London and the South.

If you are travelling via Norwich and the A47:

1) Follow the signs for Gt. Yarmouth, you’ll know you are on the right track when you hit what is known locally as the Acle Straight; a five mile stretch of arrow straight road with one bend thrown in for good measure. At the end of this road you will come to a roundabout.  Go straight across onto a short dual carriageway which leads to another roundabout. You will pass Asda and the Gt. Yarmouth train station on your right, and cross a small bridge over the River Bure.

2) You are now at the roundabout shown at the bottom of the map opposite.  Follow the road as indicated by the arrows until you reach another roundabout {we promise this is the last one!}. Take the second exit and this will lead you into Caister on Sea. At the 2nd mini roundabout turn RIGHT {Beach Road}.  Take the 3rd turning on your LEFT {Manor Road} and we are the 2nd caravan park on your right, just after the Never Turn Back public house.

If you are approaching Gt. Yarmouth via the A12:

Follow the signs for Gt. Yarmouth, passing the James Paget Hospital and Gorleston on Sea. After 3 roundabouts, you will cross the River Bure via the Breydon Bridge and approach another roundabout.  Asda will be on your right. Take the 3rd exit and at the next roundabout follow the instructions as at ‘2’ above.

We hope you have a safe and pleasant journey to Caister on Sea and Elm Beach Caravan Park!
